Sussex Shipwrecks – The TR Thompson and City of Brisbane
Day two of our three day long weekender out of Brighton with Steve Johnson of Channel Diving. The SS City of Brisbane was the last sinking by Johannes Johs and UB57 on 13th August 1918 before she was sunk by what is supposed to be the first British magnetic mines the very next day on 14th August.
These are the advanced recreational / technical days with the TR Thompson at 30 metres to the seabed and SS City of Brisbane at 25 metres to the seabed. Being a neap weekend, this will allow a longer slack water and bottom time. There is a technical dive to the RMS Moldavia the on the Friday.
– Friday 22nd – RMS Moldavia 48mtrs seabed, ropes off 10am diving at 12.45am £70pp
